MADD Entertainment brings Lovers & Liars and Envy to MIP London

MADD Entertainment is heading to MIP London 2026 with a robust slate of new Turkish prime-time dramas, headlined by major productions from Ay Yapım and NTC Medya. The lineup features high-profile reunions of creative teams behind previous international hits, alongside adaptations of classic literature.

Leading the slate is Lovers & Liars, a drama from Ay Yapım that brings together the creative duo behind the International Emmy-winning series Family Secrets. Writer Sema Ergenekon and director Ali Bilgin reunite for this story about a brilliant lawyer and a fearless con artist.

The series stars Hilal Altınbilek, known for her roles in My Wonderful Life, Bitterlands, and Black Rose, alongside Burak Deniz (The Nightfall, The Trusted, Another Love).

Also on offer is My Beautiful Revenge, a prime-time drama produced by NTC Medya. The narrative follows a woman who infiltrates an ultra-elite enclave on the Aegean coast in a quest to find her father’s killer.

The series features a large ensemble cast including Burçin Terzioğlu (For My Son), Gökçe Eyüboğlu (All About Marriage), Selin Şekerci (My Little Girl), Duygu Sarışın (Red Roses), Deniz Tansel Öngel (The Innocents), and Özgür Çevik (Orphan Flowers). Behind the camera, the project reunites writer Yekta Torun and director Semih Bağcı, who previously collaborated on One More Chance.

MADD is also presenting Envy, another Ay Yapım production inspired by Nahid Sırrı Örik’s classic novel. The story of love and revenge has been updated for the 21st century by writer Yılmaz Şahin (Magnificent Century) and director Nadim Güç (Woman, Mother).

The cast includes Özgü Namal (Red Roses) and Hafsanur Sancaktutan (If You Love).

Rounding out the distributor’s portfolio are several other key titles, including Ay Yapım’s Far Away and MF Yapım’s Blooming Lady. Buyers at the market will also see Portrait of a Scandalous Family, The Good & The Bad, Leyla, My Wonderful Life, The Brave, and Wild Heart.

Portrait of a Scandalous Family

Based on a true story, PORTRAIT OF A SCANDALOUS FAMILY follows the rise and fall of the Şakir Paşa family, an Ottoman dynasty undone by scandal. In 1911, tensions explode when Cevat returns home with an Italian wife who becomes entangled with his father. The betrayal tears the family apart—but marks the beginning of an extraordinary legacy. Cevat becomes a famed writer, his sisters iconic artists in Istanbul’s cultural scene. Despite love, tragedy, and public scrutiny, the Şakir Paşas helped shape modern Turkish art, leaving behind a legacy as dramatic as it is inspiring.

The Brave

THE BRAVE follows Halil İbrahim Karasu, who returns to his Black Sea village 20 years after fleeing as a child when crime boss Rızvan Leto killed his father. Now back to marry his childhood love, Yasemin, Halil is shattered when Rızvan’s son murders her. Consumed by vengeance, he sets out to destroy the Leto empire. The Good and the Bad

The Good & The Bad follows Devran, a brilliant young man who escapes poverty after solving a millennium math problem, earning global acclaim and a chance to teach in the U.S. Meanwhile, his estranged father İskender, now a notorious con artist, sees an opportunity for wealth—and uses Devran in a risky scheme.
